Cottages with EV Chargers

The Dinney has six holiday cottages with EV chargers in Shropshire’s beautiful countryside. Two chargers have been installed for the convenience of our guests to allow you to easily charge your electric car during your stay. Our onsite EV chargers are situated near the front of Kingfisher Cottage and are available for all guests to use. Please note that electricity for charging electric vehicles is not included in the price of your holiday and will incur an extra charge.

If you’re using the car to get out and about during your stay, you don’t have to travel far to enjoy a great day out. You’ll find many of Shropshire’s historic towns and countryside attractions within a short drive of The Dinney.

With convenient onsite charging available during your stay, you can also explore further afield without the stress of having to find somewhere to charge your electric vehicle during your holiday.

Want to travel further afield? Jump in the car to visit these beautiful destinations:

• Discover the wildlife-rich heathland of Carding Mill Valley on the Long Mynd (a heath and moorland plateau that forms part of the Shropshire Hills). This National Trust site is 50 minutes away by car.
• Head for Wrekin Hill for a challenging hike. LINK=​ https://explorethewrekin.co.uk/ This is one of Shropshire’s most familiar natural landmarks and a popular visitor destination. It’s 40 minutes away by car.  
• Explore the wild and atmospheric landscape of the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve, which includes the major part of the Stiperstones ridge in the Shropshire Hills, near the Welsh border. It’s around an hour away by car.
• You can even explore some of the Welsh landscape as well as the Shropshire countryside during your stay.  Discover the towering peaks and valleys of Snowdon National Park. It’s just under two and a half hours’ drive from The Dinney.
