We all commented that you have thought of everything!
Immaculate, spacious and comfortable house, really well equipped – great to have plenty of crockery/cutlery with such a big group, lovely safe gardens. A peaceful place (until we arrived.)
The children loved the recreation field and the pigs.
We all enjoyed being able to walk or run from the house on the many footpaths and we found plenty to do in the area.
A fabulous family holiday.
“We held a family get-together of 17 people to celebrate two 80th birthdays at the Rookery. The week was a roaring success, with everyone having a great time. The location, the property and its facilities are all spectacular and we thoroughly recommend the place to you. The Dinney’s website is a mine of information and should be studied before arrival. There are a great number of attractions in the vicinity and you can easily be spoilt for choice. If you are having an important dinner at the Rookery, we recommend Richard Chef at Home.”
“We had a fantastic weekend in Kingfisher Cottage. The cottage was lovely, warm and perfectly equipped so we could just relax and celebrate – the underfloor heating downstairs was a treat. The views from the cottage are far-reaching, once the fog had cleared, with plenty of walks, short and long, right from the cottage – no need to use a car if you dont want to. The local pub did decent food and a nice pint of Guiness.
What’s not to like!”
We travel quite a lot, a few days here and there thoughout the year with our much loved dog Harvey and have lots of disappointing accommodation which we have paid much more for, more expensive Hotels than The Dinney B&B, our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever had. We had an excellent breakfast menu, full breakfast was delicious and extremely well prepared, served by the lovely owners.
Highly recommended with stunning views of the countryside,10 out 10 for everything, can’t recommend any improvements as it was all perfect.
“The Rookery is a credit to the owner and her team. We have just got back from celebrating mine and my Twin sisters 60th birthdays. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Plenty of crockery (which is beautiful, by the way ) plenty of glasses, cutlery, kitchen equipment etc. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Very tastefully decorated throughout. The layout is great and you’re never on top of each other. The games room is also an added bonus. Can’t wait to visit again in the near future. If you are looking for somewhere for family or just a party of friends, as we were, this is definitely the place to go. We visited the Astbury Golf Club opposite the driveway to The Dinney for Sunday lunch. also excellent!”
