Mountain biking or road cycling

There is no better way to explore the charms of the countryside on a balmy sunny day than on the seat of a bicycle.

Fortunately for all you cyclists The Dinney is located on the new Route 45 National Cycle Route offering unhindered cycling through the lanes and byways of the Shropshire countryside!!

In the midst of nature

The Dinney sits on the Jack Mytton Way and travels through nearly 100 miles of Shropshire’s most beautiful and unspoilt countryside.  Rural byways, bridleways and quiet country lanes lead you through historic market towns and sleepy villages, across open moorland and past ancient earthworks.  The southern loop, over secluded parts of the Shropshire Hills, means that you can now do a circular ride.  Open to horse riders, cyclists and walkers the majority of the route is off road.

The perfect location

Whether you want road or off-road cycling there are plenty of recognised rides throughout Shropshire taking in historic towns, villages and countryside.  Guests may take advantage of this unique facility and bring their own cycles or are able to hire them from the local dealer.  As we are set deep in the countryside, it is a particularly safe place for children to ride their bikes.
